What should the air pressure be on the plant?
Baghouse Cleaning:    90 psi
All Solenoids:     100-120 psi
Belt Scrapers w/Air:    20 psi

What is the normal tension for the drag conveyor?
3/4" to 1" of deflection between two idlers.

What oil goes in the gear box?
We put Teristic 150 in most of the gearboxes. The Browning gearbox on the airlocks gets 90 weight. Sumitomo feeder drives get ISO 220.

What is the clearance on the double tips?
Measure from the drum shell out to the edge of the tip. It should be 16-1/2".

What is the torque for the Double Barrel® tips and shanks?
The shank bolts are grade 5 and should torque to 250 lbs.
The tip bolts are grade 8 and should torque to 350 lbs.

How tight should the drum drive chain be?
Tighten the chain until it comes up against the guide. Then compress the springs until you have 18" -- 1/4" between the spring coils.

Why is my baghouse differential above 5
The baghouse may not be cleaning properly.
Air pressure:   90 psi
On time:   .15 - .20 seconds
Off time:   8 - 20 seconds

Why do I keep losing bearings?
They are most likely not being greasing properly. Refer to the recommended lubrication schedule included in your manual.

Why does my tachometer not work?
It could be from water in the plug or a broken cable.

Why is my belt zero at 0 or 4095?
Possible causes include water in the load cell plug; a broken cable or a blown fuse in PWB207.

Why is my MBU run light flashing?
MBU is in a midstream. Must push midstream start to get out of it.

Why is my temperature control at full-scale or wide open?
The thermocouple probe or wire is broken.

Why is my flame meter jumping around when I have no fire?
The cable is bad or there may be water in the connections.

What should my pilot gas pressure be?
15 psi on Eco Star burners.
25 psi on Star Jet burners.

What should my fuel or gas pressure be on my burner?
Fuel:  30-60 psi
Gas:  1-3 psi
Propane:  180 psi
The fuel viscosity should be 80 to 90 ssu.

Why is my A/C running high?
There are several possible causes, including:
Belt scale or A/C calibration.
Material sticking to the belt because the scraper is not working/
Moisture not set correctly.

Why will my A/C pump not put out as much A/C as it used to?
Several possible causes include:
The strainer is blocked.
The A/C pipe or distribution box is blocked.
The relief valve is stuck open on the pump.
