Astec’s portable, self-erecting surge bin (SEB) combines several operations into a single unit: drag conveying, batching, surge/short term storage, truck loading and weighing. Hydraulic cylinders raise the portable unit in approximately 15 minutes. The SEB sets up on level compacted soil and comes with a built-in, steel truck loading platform. No concrete foundations required. Available in 100-ton and 120-ton models. |
