The Astec Weigh Mate is a totally electronic, low-profile truck scale that comes in length up to 140 feet and capacities up to 500 tons. Externally mounted shear beam load cells are connected to data collection terminal and ticket printers and can be matched to all digital readout units. Depending on length, the scales have between four and ten load cells. The scales are wired in conduit. Checkered steel deck plates and extra wide heavy flanges make the scales sturdy and durable.
