Astec’s fiber shredder is designed specifically for hot mix asphalt producers. In the past producers had to adapt shredders made for other applications. Now this heavy-duty, self-feeding machine is available. It cuts manpower requirements and increases safety at facilities using fiber in their mixes. The fiber shredder ties directly into the facilities computer system for precise metering and will be useful in operations that run advanced mix designs, including Stone Matrix mixes. |
