Astec stationary facilities are suitable for permanent installations, especially when the highest production volumes are required. They allow flexibility for future add-ons as the needs of the contractor change. Stationary facilities can accommodate unconventional plant layouts.
Components are supplied with steel legs to grade. Concrete foundations hold the legs and support the components.
Stationary plants are outfitted with Double Barrel® drum mixers and storage silos are used to hold the mix. Like Astec portable and relocatable facilities, Astec stationary plants are equipped with many, innovative features not available anywhere else. Astec pollution and noise control equipment include load out tunnels, systems that capture hydrocarbon vapors, stack silencers, and burner blower silencers. This technology makes these permanent facilities good neighbors in their communities.
