05/08/06: Astec Six Pack Series is the Contractor's Choice
The Astec Six Pack series won the Gold Medal in the Asphalt Plants category of the first annual Roads & Bridges Contractor's Choice Awards. Roads & Bridges invited contractors from across the country to cast their votes for the strongest performers out on the job site for the 2005 season. Astec's Six Pack series Asphalt Plant won the Gold Medal for its category.
Astec President Norm Smith will accept the award from Roads & Bridges during a ceremony at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association annual convention held September 26-29 at the Hotel Coronado in San Diego.
As a Gold Medal winner, Astec is also featured in a special section of the July issue of Roads & Bridges magazine.
