Only Astec, Inc. will showcase a complete Hot Mix Asphalt facility at World of Asphalt 2006. Astec is gearing up for the asphalt industry's premier exhibition where the company will showcase its award-winning HMA plant replica. Hand-built by a select group of Astec fabricators, this plant is one-eighth the size of a standard Astec facility. But don't let the size fool you – Astec's relocatable plant replica is authentic down to the smallest details.
Exhibitor Magazine, a multi-industry publication for advertising and marketing executives, featured Astec's HMA plant replicas in the June 2005 article entitled, "The Incredible Shrinking Exhibit."
"A lot of heart and soul went into making the replicas," said Paul Shelton, Astec's Director of Advertising. "And we were thrilled to see them so well-received." In fact, the replica project won Exhibitor Magazine's 2005 All-Star Award.
