01/17/05: Neal Ferry Joins Astec Industries, Inc.
Astec Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent addition of J. Neal Ferry. Mr. Ferry brings thirty-four years of experience at Peter Kiewit Sons' to his new position as Astec Industries, Inc.'s Executive Vice President. Mr. Ferry began his career at Kiewit at the age of eighteen, and he served as Corporate Equipment Manager his last ten years there. In this position, he managed an inventory of machinery with a replacement value of $1.9 billion while overseeing a network of personnel in Kiewit's maintenance, purchasing, and equipment sales departments. Mr. Ferry's industry experience and his perspective as a long-time end-user of construction equipment promise to further Astec's role in the industry as the leader in technology and service.
