12/22/04: The Parts department at Astec expands its customer-oriented range of prompt service.
For those who use Astec, Barber-Greene, and ESSTEE HMA plants, the Astec Parts Department has always been a reliable source of replacement parts and fabricated items. Now, the Parts Department is increasing its ability to serve its customers by entering the arena of competitive parts sales.
In order to get Astec Parts started in the right direction in this new area of sales, Travis Sneed has been named as the regional sales manager for competitive parts sales in the Southeast Region. Sneed has been with Astec for 15 years and has extensive experience with the manufacture and design of HMA equipment. His knowledge and experience will add to the many benefits customers enjoy when they deal with Astec Parts.
One of those well-known benefits is the reliability of Astec Parts service: a parts technician is available in the office from 7 AM until midnight, Monday through Friday; and from 8 AM until noon on Saturday. During off-hours, an Astec parts technician can be reached 24 hours a day and 7 days a week via pager. That makes getting the parts you need much faster and easier. You can get almost any part you need from the Astec Parts Department, no matter what brand your plant might be.
