Astec, Inc. Welcomes New Director of Sales for the Middle East and Africa
(Chattanooga, TN, USA) - Astec, Inc. (Astec) announces the addition of Raji ElMawla as Director of Sales for the Middle East and Africa. ElMawla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a marketing emphasis from the University of Sheffield and is fluent in English, French and Arabic. Raji has spent the past twenty-three years in the consumer durables industry, most recently as the Director of Sales, Middle East and Africa for The Whirlpool Corporation. Previous assignments include Director of Sales, Regions, for The Middle East, Europe, South America and Asia for Maytag International, Inc., a division of The Maytag Corporation.
ElMawla will be based in Beruit, Lebanon. He will report to Astec Vice President of International Sales, Steve Claude. Of ElMawla, Claude says, "Raji has a extensive and proven track record of increasing both top line sales and operating income profits in his past assignments. In addition, he brings a wealth of international experience and knowledge with him that will serve him well in his new assignment with Astec, Inc."
