Astec hosted five Advanced Customer Schools in January and February of 2005. After completing their training, participants applauded the increased focus on hands-on training provided by Rick Worth, Astec Customer School Coordinator, and his staff.
David S. Madden of Madden Contracting Company in Minden, Louisiana called this year's Advanced Customer Schools a "slam dunk." Mr. Madden cited Rick Worth's hands-on trunnion adjustment and maintenance class as one of the highlights. Other highlights included the controls class on basic electrical and variable frequency drives by Controls Service Technician Albert Covington as well as the baghouse presentation by Catherine Sutton, Astec's Environmental Compliance Manager.
