Raji ElMawla - VP, International Sales

(Chattanooga, TN, USA) ASTEC, Inc., an Astec Industries company, announces the appointment of Raji ElMawla as Vice President of International Sales.  Mr. ElMawla will be responsible for managing the sales, marketing and support efforts of Astec Hot Mix Asphalt plants and equipment for all international markets, with the exception of Canada and Australia.

ElMawla has an extensive background in international sales and business development, with his most recent challenge as CEO of Sealco, a company based in Lebanon.  From 2007 to 2009, he was Director of Sales for the Middle East and Africa for Astec Inc.  Steve Claude, Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing comments that “I am very pleased to welcome Raji back to the Astec family in his new capacity. Raji’s depth of experience in international sales and management will be a great asset to our team. In addition, his business development skills will greatly assist our efforts in growing Astec sales with our licensee partners in India and China.

ElMawla has a BA degree in business management from Sheffield University, UK.  He speaks fluent English, French and Arabic with a working knowledge of Italian. Raji and his family will reside in Beirut, Lebanon.
